Alex walked through the corridor of her apartment building, a bag of groceries under her arm as she fiddle with her keys as she approached her apartment. It wasnt strange that a girl her age would live alone in this world, to be honest her family hadnt been lucky with the citizen exams, her father was and he moved up into the upper class and never came back. Alex dropped her keys as she sighed placing her bag of groceries on the ground she crouched down to pick up her keys before the lights in the hall went red "Inhabitants, This is an OakSec inspection, Do not be alarmed, we have only your safety in mind, please co operate with any OakSec security officers present" Alex stood up as she saw the squad of OakSec come down the hall "Against the wall" the first officer said to her as she looked at his helmeted face the black visor showing her only his reflection "Now" He said as Alex nodded and turned around placing her hand on the wall as the officer went through her shopping.
Once he had finished Alex felt his foot between hers as he kicked her legs apart gently, he was Human, she could tell by the way he pushed her when his hand rested on her lower back as his superior walked passed the Security officer pushed her against the flat "Stay still" he whispered when his superior "Have you found anything officer" The superior asked, He wasnt human, he was Vaygan they had contempt for humans and looked at Alex "How long old is this one" He asked "Id say about 17-18" The security officer said "Nearly time to take the exam" The superior asked as Alex nodded "Hmmm, well good luck" He said with a sly grin "Finish your search then officer." The Security officer hesitated for a few seconds before his superior made a remark on why his actions lagged “Sorry” He whispered as Alex closed her eyes.
The officer pulled her slightly from the wall so she was leaning mostly on her arms as he placed his hands on her hips and ran them down her thighs as he crouched his hand reaching bare skin once he got passed her school skirt. Alex breathed out as his fingers felt the muscles in her legs and the superior pulled a tablet from a pouch on his vest and looked to the officer “A5” He said as Alex winched a little but betrayed no movement as she exhaled before the officer stood up “Turn around” He ordered as Alex opened her eyes, it was only a few seconds till she did as the superior looked at her with a smile “Your ID markings?” The officer asked as Alex shook her head “Dont start now we’re almost done” He said as he grabbed her holding her against the wall the officer pulled up her hoodies waist band pushing her head back making her hood fall around her shoulders revealing her brown skin and green eyes “A Revaini” The superior said as Alex tried to push officer away before he tugged the right side of her skirt down to reveal her hip and upper thigh. As Alex tried to get away from his grasp the officer placed his knee between her legs so she would loose balance if she moved till he moved her clothing from her hip to find what they were looking for. The fluorescent tattooed markings that followed the crest of her hip bone “Youre 19 this year?” The officer said as the Superior looked at Alex “Im taking the Exam in November” She said in a paniced voice “Where is you ID card” He asked as Alex pulled it from her pocket on her hoodie as the Security officer took it from her and looked at it “Blackwell” He said and handed it to his Supervisor “Hmm, Let me see this” He said and sighed running it through the data base “Hmm, You were supposed to graduate last year, Held Back huh? 3 credits?” He said and looked at her “You have exclent grades and you are held back by three credits” He said as Alex nodded “Unusual for a Ravaini to even be alowed in Blackwell let alone get such high scores, well done, I see here you are taking it in November, Fine” He said as he gave the ID back and placed his tablet back in his pouch “NOthing abnormal with this one, move on to the next” The superior said as the Security officer let Alex go and turned to follow the others.
Alex pulled her skirt up and looked at the ground kneeling down to pick up her things she stood up and unlocked to door to her apartment and walked in closing the door she lent on the it as she looked at the roof and shivered. Walking to her kitchen she looked at the small apartment, there was her bed a couch the small kitchen and a room that was the bathroom, it was well decorated and it wasnt badly made but it was small and all she could afford, She would be 19 in a week then she would have no way to dodge the Exams no way at all…
That week passed, there were a few more random inspections in her neighbourhood but she wasnt hassled again. Alex woke up, with a jolt. Her head had been resting on her hand as she blinked a little the sun hitting her eyes as it streamed in the window next to her. The warm air flowed through the open window as she began to come back to where she was her teachers voice rattling off the lesson she had no intention of paying attention to as she looked at her desk her black hair falling over her face as she closed her eyes again and tried to escape to her quiet place again before she heard the person in front of her shift in her chair Alex looked up at the girl in front of her and sighed, A another Vayger she was pretty, well she had always been since they started. She spoke to her a few times but doubted she even realised she existed. Alex sighed and moved her head in her hand and looked out of the window. She saw the world outside and frowned it was great for anyone but a human female just about to turn 19…..
