Deadzone A1 gives reference to northern Varda, specifically the NiflTech campus, Tempest Industries Facilities and the Niflhime Mannor. It is an extremely hostile part of the city and is restricted by most Bastions. The largest concentrations of infected have been scouted as being here as well as defected NiflTech Androids who have been known to pray on survivors in many cases. It is also a key area of operation for the Hub's ARC troopers who are often called upon to recover technology from the northern parts of Varda.
